Hostings - Jennifer Shirk invited Joselyn Vaughn over for a game of Name that Character. Pat Stoltey turned the blog over to Linda Faulkner who discussed the writing advice twist - a little different from the Chubby Checker version. Janet Fox introduced Trent Reedy & his novel 'Words in the Dust'.

Reviews - Jenn reviewed 'Unearthly' by Cynthia Hand - 5 stars. Katie Anderson provided a candid look at 'The King's Speech'. Kristina Fugate LOVED 'The Hunger Games'. Leigh Moore looked at 'Shiver' by Maggie Stiefvater.

Agent-y Blogs - Mandy Hubbard introduced 'Rival' by Sarah Bennet Wealer with an ARC giveaway. Scott Eagan answered the setting question, offered a critique giveaway with fundraiser donation, chimed in on POV shifts, discussed the dialogue blues & asked about digital book browsing. Jessica Faust broke into NANO next moves, multiplicity of personality, digital media queries - YouTube, social media & not giving her the rejection itch. Janet Reid had a 'Divergent' contest, a moment to stop, Tom Franklin's 'Crooked Letter Crooked Letter', 'A Bad Day for Scandal', contest results & a new opportunity to win. Nathan Bransford held a recap, a cocktail party, some balance, standardization efforts & a week in review. Kristin Nelson looked at the slow build in Children's Literature. Yep, the power kept going throughout the write of this blog. Windy days in Montana are like that - 'I'll huff & I'll puff & I'll blow your internet connection down.' Waiting really is the hardest part. And, of course, no picture - sad, but I couldn't get it to load. Ah, the lament of the power deprived.
